Our Waste Pickers Registration and Surveys (activity 2 of the global waste pickers day program) commenced at Pugu-Kinyamwezi Dumpsite on the 16th November 2022. We began with a preliminary information session to present to the waste pickers and their leaders explaining what the program is about and what the benefits are. We also had a discussion session with the group for them to  provide insight and feedback to us. We then continued to conduct the Waste Pickers registration and survey questionnaires and we continued at Pugu for 5 days in hopes of reaching all waste pickers there.
