During our second phase of the Global Waste Pickers Day Program, we conducted registration of waste pickers through a digital platform, Zaidi App. As part of their company Ethics Week, Tata Africa joined us in a registration event in the heart of Kariakoo where waste pickers sell their materials. As well as conducting several registrations, Tata Africa provided the first 100 waste pickers with PPE Equipment: reflective vests and gloves.
